Synopsis[]
Some of the human prospectors become jealous of the Prairie People who have much better luck finding Kerium. Tex Hex takes advantage of the situation, trying to instigate a war between the settlers and the Prairie folk.

Plot[]
Some of the human prospectors become jealous of the Prairie People who have much better luck finding Kerium. Tex Hex takes advantage of the situation, trying to instigate a war between the settlers and the Prairie folk.
Spirit Animal Powers[]
- BraveStarr used Strength of the Bear to crush Zeke and Fred's Neurta-Lasers with one hand.
- BraveStarr used Speed of the Puma to chase after a Turbo-Mule carrying a kidnapped Judge J.B. and her kidnapper, a masked Prairy Person.
- BraveStarr used Strength of the Bear to throw his Tomahawk at Tex and his Skull Walker with such force, that the Walker broke into a million pieces.
Special Abiltities[]
- When Cactus Head broke one of his robots, Tex Hex fired a beam from his eyes to knock him down.
- Tex Hex used his Hex Powers to summon his Skull Walker out of thin air. He then equipped his Neutra-Laser with a 'special Hex-load' to reanimate the bones of a dead Broncosaurus.

Law Protectors[]
- Marshal BraveStarr - BraveStarr had the feeling trouble was building up in town. Soon he found three human prospectors chasing a couple of Prairie People because the natives posessed more Kerium then the humans did. BraveStarr scolded the men for using derogatory names to address the Prairie People. But when it appeared that two masked Prairie People had kidnapped Judge J.B., BraveStarr used the slur 'Critters' himself. BraveStarr and Thirty/Thirty set out to rescue the Judge, only to find that she had escaped all by herself and found proof that the Prairie People were being framed by Tex Hex. Then the three of them hurried to the Prairie People Settlement to stop the three prospectors from starting a war between human kind and the native Prairie People.
- Thirty/Thirty - Thirty/Thirty was present when BraveStarr stopped the three prospectors from attacking two Prairie People. He was the one who first identified the humans were suffering from Kerium Fever. Together with BraveStarr, Thirty/Thirty failed to stop the kidnapping of Judge J.B., but they travelled into the Badlands to aid J.B. during her escape and then hurried to the Prairie People Settlement to stop the dispute between the humans and the natives from growing into a war.
- Deputy Fuzz - Fuzz was playing a game of Star-Hoop with Marshal BraveStarr because business in town was very quiet. But when a dispute between three prospectors and two Prairie People broke out, Fuzz was upset and confused about the humans calling his kind names such as 'Critters' and 'Fuzz-Heads'. Then it appeared that two masked Prairie People kidnapped Judge J.B., and even BraveStarr used a slur against the Prairie People, but immediately apologised to Fuzz about it. Fuzz was present at the Prairie People Settlement when the posse of Prospectors came to attack, but BraveStarr and an escaped J.B. showed them proof that the Tex Hex was behind the kidnapping and had framed the native Prairie People. Fuzz accepted the men's apologies by using a Neutra-Laser to shoot down a rock, revealing a mountain worth of Kerium to the Prospectors.
- Judge J.B. McBride - Judge J.B. was kidnapped by two 'Prairie People' (actually robot replicas made by Tex Hex) and taken to the Hexagon. She managed to escape on her own accord and stole one of Tex's Turbo-Mules, taking one of the robots with her as evidence. She presented it as proof of Tex Hex's involvement at the Prairie People Settlement to stop a fight from breaking out.
Outlaws[]
- Cactus Head - While spying in Fort Kerium, Cactus Head learned that he Prairie People had access to greater Kerium wealth than the prospectors. He went back to the Hexagon to tell Tex Hex. Later, when Cactus Head accidentally broke one of Tex's robots, he was shot by a beam from Tex's eyes. Tex then referred to Cactus Head as 'Spindle legged fool' and 'Pincushion'.
- Tex Hex - Tex referred to himself as 'Tex the Terrible' after coming up with a plan to start a war between the prospectors and the Prairie People. He built a series of Robot imposters to pose as Prairie People and kidnap Judge J.B., knowing that the Prospectors would take out their anger the real Prairie People, leading to war between the humans and the locals. But when J.B. escaped, Tex went in pursuit and used his Hex Powers to reanimate a Broncosaur skeleton. Both the Broncosaur and Tex on his Skull Walker were defeated by BraveStarr, leaving Tex to retreat.
- Thunder Stick - It was Thunder Stick who gave Tex Hex the idea to keep an eye on BraveStarr by using a Fly-Spy.
- Outlaw Scuzz (none speaking role) - Scuzz was present in the Hexagon when Cactus Head reported to Tex Hex.
- Impostor Prairie People - Tex Hex built a number of robots the size and shape of Prairie People, covered them in clothing complete with hoods and had them successfully kidnap Judge J.B. and then send a ransom demand using a Message Card. This fooled most of the witnesses to the kidnapping into thinking that the Prairie People were beind the kidnapping and caused the animosity the humans already felt for the natives to reach a boiling point.
Settlers[]
- Handlebar - Handlebar offered Fred a free glass of Sweetwater when the Prospector could not afford one of his own. However, Handlebar disaproved when the human prospectors began name-calling the native Prairie-People. Later Handlebar talked about social unrest with Old Timer and was persuaded to spill the beans about BraveStarr and Judge J.B.'s relationship. He was unaware that one of Tex Hex' Spy-Flies was eavesdropping on them, but the bartender did grow annoyed by the constant buzzing noises the little machine made, and swatted it.
Prospectors[]
- Zeke - Zeke and Billy-Bob could only afford one glass of Sweetwater between the two of them. When two Prairie People arrived carrying Kerium, they and fellow prospector Fred became envious and chased them right out of the Trading Post and onto Main Street. Later, when it seemed that Judge J.B. had been kidnapped for a ransom by masked Prairie People, Zeke, Billy-Bob and Fred decided to drive all of the Prairie People into the Badlands (and take their Kerium in the process). However, BraveStarr and J.B. showed them that they had the Prairie People were innocent of the kidnapping, having been framed by Tex Hex. In return for an apology, Deputy Fuzz revealed a mountanload of Kerium to the overjoyed prospectors.
- Billy-Bob - Billy-Bob and Zeke could only afford one glass of Sweetwater between the two of them. When two Prairie People arrived carrying Kerium, they and fellow prospector Fred became envious and chased them right out of the Trading Post and onto Main Street. - Old Timer - Old Timer was driving his covered wagon when BraveStarr was chasing the Turbo-Mule carrying a kidnapped Judge J.B. Later he took a drink in the Trading Post and recounted unrest between humans and natives in the Kayflux Galaxy. At that time, it was the humans who got the blame.

- Prairie People - Zeke, Billy-Bob and Fried used slurs like 'Fuzz-Balls' and 'Critters' against the Prairie People who had better luck findiing Kerium than they did. However, Handlebar didn't allow no name-calling in his place. Later, even BraveStarr let slip the term 'critters' after it appeared that two Prairie People kidnapped J.B. Zeke rerrered to them as Varmints and Billy-Bob called them 'crooked little sand-rats'.
- Shaman (moral only) - Shaman appeared during the moral segment to explain the episode learned in this story.
Locations[]
- Fort Kerium - BraveStarr had a feeling trouble was brewing in Fort Kerium because it was too quiet. Indeed, animosity was growing against the Prairie People on the part of several Prospectors who were unable to find Kerium for themselves. Main street became the location of a showdown between three prospectors, two prairie people and the law. Later, Judge J.B. was kidnapped right out of her office, and BraveStarr ended up chasing the kidnappers through town.
- Marshal's Office - Marshal BraveStarr and Deputy Fuzz were playing a game of Star-Hoop at the office to pass the time. Later Fuzz expressed dismay about his kind being refferred to as 'critters' by the human prospectors.
- Trading Post - Three prospectors were complaining about a lack of Kerium when two Prairie Person entered the Trading Post with enough Kerium of their own to make the humans jealous enough to try and take it from them. Later they made plans inside the Trading Post and after that, Old Timer visited the Post to impart some wisdom while having a drink.
- Fort Kerium Courthouse - J.B. was seemingly kidnapped by masked Prairie People right from her office.
- Badlands - The prospectors threatened to drive the Prairie People into the Badlands and crossed it themselves on Turbo-Mules to get from Fort Kerium to the Prairie People Settlement.
- Hexagon - Judge J.B. was kidnapped and taken to the Hexagon, but managed to escape on her own. Tex Hex coordinated his plan to cause a war between the prospectors and the Prairie People from the Hexagon.
- Prairie People Settlement - Zeke, Billy-Bob and Fred rode out to the Prairie People Settlement to engage in a fight, but were unarmed by BraveStarr. Deputy Fuzz shot the top of a mountain with a Neutra-Laser, uncovering a stack of Kerium that the Prospectors immediately took hold of.
- Starr Peak (during moral only) - BraveStarr and Shaman are seen meditating by the fire at Starr Peak while Shaman recounts the moral of this story.

- Star-Hoop - BraveStarr and Fuzz were playing a game of Star-Hoop to pass the time.
- Fly-Spy - Tex Hex took out one of his collection of mechanical little Fly-Spies and sent it to Fort Kerium. It found a place to spy on the settlers inside Handlebar's Trading Post, but was eventually swatted by Handlebar.
- Message Card - The two kidnappers send a Message Card which fell from the sky right into BraveStarr's hand. At the push of a button, a hologram appeared stating the kidnappers demands.
Weapons[]
- Neutra-Laser - When Zeke and Fred aimed their Neutra-Lasers at a couple of Prairie People and refused to listen to BraveStarr's warning, the marshal drew his own laser and shot the prospector's weapons out of their hands. BraveStarr caught both weapons with one hand and crushed them. Two masked 'Prairie People' took potshots at Judge J.B. as well as BraveStarr using Neutra-Lasers. Tex Hex fired his Neutra-Laser at Judge J.B. when he pursued her on his Skull Walker. He equipped his Neutra-Laser with a 'special Hex-load' to reanimate the bones of a dead Broncosaur. Zeke and Fred got themselves new weapons and together with Billy-Bob travelled to the Prairie People Reservation and aimed their Lasers at them. But once more, BraveStarr was there to shoot the lasters out of the prospector's hands with his own weapon. The men became nervous when Deputy Fuzz cocked a Neutra-Laser of his own, but he used it to uncover a mountain full of Kerium, making the prospectors extatic with joy.
- Sara Jane - Thirty/Thirty carried Sara when BraveStarr confronted the three prospectors on the street, and later blasted off a shot at a masked Prairie Person that was shooting at BraveStarr.
- Hammer of Justice (mentioned only) - Judge J.B. wished she had her Hammer during her escape from the Hexagon.
- Laser Lasso - BraveStarr used his Laser Lasso to trip up the reanimated Broncosaur, causing it to fall apart.
- Tomahawk - BraveStarr used Strength of the Bear to throw his Tomahawk at Tex and his Skull Walker with such force, that the Walker broke into a million pieces.

- Turbo-Mule - Two masked Prairie Persons kidnapped Judge J.B, tied her and drove off with her on an Turbo-Mule. Zeke, Billy-Bob and Fred rode out on Turbo's to rescue Judge J.B. and get a load of Kerium in the process. Meanwhile Judge J.B. escaped from the Hexagon on antother Turbo-Mule.
- Skull Walker - Tex Hex went in persued of Judge J.B. riding his Skull Walker, which he made appear out of thin air using his Hex power.
- Turbo-Stallion (mentioned only) - When Judge J.B. escaped from the Hexagon on a Turbo-Mule, she wished she was riding her Turbo-Stallion instead.
